Welcome to the official Robotiada robot competition 2019 information page! We invite you to familiarize yourself with the main categories of competitions. This year’s event will host the largest competition in the country’s history, with live coverage and commentary of the event.

FLL

ROBOTIADA will host a national FLL (F.I.R.S.T. LEGO League) competition. Only Lithuanian teams can compete in this competition. 2018/2019 Season is called "Into Orbit". This year, students will be racing against time to achieve the highest score in space-themed tasks! Visitors will be able to watch the highest scoring 16 teams from Lithuania who will compete in three categories: Robot (Into Orbit) field, Science project and Core value evaluation. Highest scoring team will win the possibility to represent Lithuania in European FIRST LEGO League Open International event.

JR. FLL

The second official FLL Jr. season in Lithuania will be held in Robotiada 2019! This year, our youngest competition category will take on the Moon with new and exciting challenges! Competitors in this event are using the Inspire set and WeDo motors.

LEGO SUMO

Fans of the Ancient Japanese martial art Sumo are eagerly waiting for this LEGO robot competition. LEGO Robot sumo will be held in a 1v1 format, where two robots will face each other in the field, to see which will push the other out of the competition ring. During this event you will judge the constructors' wisdom, strategy and the joy of victory. May the best Robot win! Weight of the participating robot is up to 1 kg. Length - up to 15 cm. Width - up to 15 cm. Height - Unlimited

LEGO LINE FOLLOWING

Prove that your robot can be fast and independent like a Tesla car! Do you think tracking the line is easy? Come and try your hand at the construction of precise and fast LINE FOLLOWING robots! Every year, the robot race track is based on a different World famous racing track. Come and see who wins!

MINI SUMO

Small - doesn't mean it's weak. In these matches agile and fast robots strive for victory. Speed, adaptability to the environment, sensor capability and many other factors determine which of the two competitors will feel the taste of victory. Come to support these little robots and their builders in the fastest-paced event!

SUMO

The 3 kg category is the largest and most spectacular robot Sumo competition category in Europe. These robots are bigger, heavier and much more advanced than their counterparts in other Sumo categories. Unique tactics, a flurry of sensors and sheer size of the robots guarantee a spectacular event! These Sumo fighters are REALLY strong - with a weight of only 3 kg, they can move weight up to 100 times their size! Come and watch the battles of these mighty robots!

LINE FOLLOWING

FOLKRACE

Are you fan of rally? Do you enjoy speed? Then you will enjoy Folkrace! In this event, the autonomous robots compete independently on the track, which their creators do not know in advance. Obstacles, uncertainty and speed - only after overcoming these challenges the winner will be awarded! Weight of the participating robot is up to 1 kg. Length - up to 20 cm. Width - up to 15 cm.

IROBOT

Is your hard-working vacuum cleaner just quietly vacuuming dust, or does he dream of a glorious fighters career? Representatives of Lithuania and Latvia will gather for an amazing iRobot fight. Be prepared to see everyday robots in not-so-everyday setting!
